About Central Reserve Police Force
The Central Reserve Police Force is the largest of India's Central Armed Police Forces. CRPF functions under the aegis of Ministry of Home Affairs of the Government of India. The CRPF's primary role lies in assisting the State/Union Territories in police operations to maintain law and order and contain insurgency. With 220 battalions and various other establishments, the CRPF is considered to be one of the largest paramilitary force in the world. An interesting fact is CRPF guarded the India-Pakistan Border until 1965, at which point the Border Security Force was created for that purpose. Also in 2008 a wing called Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) was added to the CRPF to counter the Naxalite movement.

CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) has announced the notification for the Recruitment of 635 Male/Female Constable (Trade & Technical) Posts. All eligible candidates can apply before 1st July through offline. Applications are invited from Male and Female Indian citizens who are ordinarily resident in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Kerala for filling up the vacancies of Constables (Trade & Technical) in CRPF

Educational Qualification
Applicants should be pass Matriculation and ITI Diploma Certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle and Transport Vehicle driving license with relevant experience.
Age Limit
Between 18 to 23 Years as on 01/8/2013.
Selection Process
Applicants Selection process will be basis of Physical Tests, Written Test, Trade Test & Medical Examination.
